Olive oil is great for protecting, healing and promoting skin growth. It is packed with antioxidants and vitamin E. It as helps soothe the skin and itching of the skin. You need to rub extra virgin olive oil onto the affected area, few times daily. You can also use a combination of honey and olive oil. You can also add a pinch of turmeric powder to olive oil and apply it to the affected area 3 times daily. Keep ice in a sealed plastic bag and put it over the affected area for a few minutes. You can also soak a clean washcloth in ice-cold water and leave it over the rash for next 10 minutes.
